Listened to this one a few weeks ago, and what a burden Gobbie had growing up.
Adolescence is hard enough without sexual ambiguity thrown in, driving her/them nearly to suicide...

And the critical email Paul got that he read at the beginning of the Ellen BlackCloud episode, hmm... The writer was chagrined at some "young folks" wanting others to use gender-non-specific pronouns on their behalf. Agreed that it's awkward, but so is the reality of the ambiguity!

And all I could think of was "Hey you kids! Get offa the lawn" :lol:
